LG launches Optimus Me in Australia for $229

LG continues its onslaught of Android smartphones in Australia and today launched entry-level Optimus Me. It will be sold for A$229 [outright] from major retail stores including Big-W and Dick Smith stores. LG Optimus Me features Android 2.2, 2.8-inch TFT capacitive touch screen (QVGA), 600MHz CPU, 3-megapixel camera, FM radio and 1,280 mAh battery.
